Denver Democrats part 2

I write this listening to a litany of speeches leading up to Hillary Clinton's talk tonight - I heard President Clinton this morning, a short, direct appeal to democratic leaders to not only address but fix the key challenges facing the world - global warming, income inequality, and deep insecurity about the future. Hard to see the Harper agenda in any of this !

Good analysis of the challenge facing Obama from the Pew Research guy - his support trails Democrats, not enough definition of his agenda, and the celebrity thing is almost getting in the way. He's not behind, so no cause for panic, but he's also not gaining, and so the test will be to put the eloquence into action.

All reporters here ask if I root for Barack. Hard not to feel moved buy him. Impressed by him. But we have to work with whoever Americans choose.

Like everyone I'm waiting to see how Senator Clinton endorses Senator Obama tonight. Lots of buzz and speculation about tension, but Democrats have to stay united if they're going to win.
