Dear Fellow Toronto Centre Liberal,

Are you looking for a fun and exciting way to start off 2008? Interested in hearing from two great Toronto Centre community leaders? Want to help support the future of the Liberal Party? Then Come to the Toronto Centre Young Liberals (TCYL) Annual Winter Fundraiser with SPECIAL GUESTS the Hon. Bob Rae and the Hon. George Smitherman!

The TCYL Holiday Fundraiser is taking place on Tuesday, January 22nd from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the Foxes Den Bar and Grill, 1075 Bay Street (south of Bloor Street). Here is a map of the location.

Tickets for adults are only $20 and youth tickets are only $15.

Come hear from and meet the Hon. George Smitherman and the Hon. Bob Rae! The Hon. George Smitherman is the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care for the province of Ontario and has been elected to represent Toronto Centre since 1997. The Hon. Bob Rae, former Premier of Ontario, is the chairperson of Liberal Party of Canada's platform committee and is the Liberal candidate in Toronto Centre.

Proceeds of the Fundraiser

All proceeds will go to TCYL and will be used to support the club's mandate of policy development, community outreach and recruitment, community volunteering, youth social events, attending LPC(O) and OLP conventions and policy sessions, and encouraging youth to volunteer for Toronto Centre Liberal events. Sufficient financial resources are critical to having a successful youth club!

In 2006-2007 TCYL held a successful fundraiser that provided resources for TCYL members to make an active contribution to the Liberal Party and our community, a fact recognized by our award of the "Best Riding Club in Ontario" as voted by our peers in the Ontario Young Liberals.

We would be grateful if you could attend so that we can have an active club again in 2008!
